Rural Development
Rural Development refers to improvement in overall quality of life alongwith creation of livelihood options. UMC provides handholding support to the governments to conduct training for social and economic development programmes in rural areas.
In the past, UMC has extensively worked with government in convergence and implementation of various policies and programmes at the local government, Gram Panchayats and at Taluka level for rural sanitation, solid and liquid waste management apart from resource improvement in rural areas.
