To increase the uptake of COVID-19 vaccination among various sections of the population who show vaccine hesitancy, UMC in collaboration with Noora Health, CDMA, MEPMA and GWMC conducted training of trainers for Municipal officials and DAY-NULM functionaries across the state of Telangana. The training session focused on importance of vaccination, busting the myths around vaccination, basics of COVID-19, etc. More than 4000 officials and functionaries including Town Mission Coordinators, Community Organisers, Community Resource Persons, Sanitary Supervisors, Sanitary Inspectors and Sanitary Jawans participated in the training. They shall further spread awareness among the communities and help in increasing the vaccination among the SHG members, sanitation workers and their respective families.
